“Lin…? What’s wrong…?” Aang asked gently.
“Ah. I see…Well, sometimes… sometimes things don’t go the way we want them to…
But…even so… we still should never turn our backs to the ones who need and rely on us.”
“Come on,” Aang said with a cheerful smile.
“Let’s go find your mother.”
I just always loved how Lin (and Asami!) keep helping those around them despite being given so many lemons in life. They’re my two favorite new characters because of it and I imagined that (at least for Lin) the sentiment came from an inspiring conversation with Aang when she was young :)I love this art so much!
